  1. The armistice treaty ended WWI,Provisions of the treaty were
-termination of military enemies within 6 hours of signing
-removal of all german troops from France Belgium,Luxenburg and Alsace-Lorrainne
-removal of all German troops from territory on the westside of the Rhine plus 30km radius, bridgeheads the right side of the Rhineat the cities of Mainz,Knoblenz, and Cologne with ensuing occupation by allied and US troops.
-Removal of all German troops at the eastern front to German territory as it was on August 1,1914.
-Renouncement of the treaty of Brest-Litovsk with Russia and of the Treaty of Bucharest with Romania.
    -Internment of the German fleet.
    -Surrender of materials:5,000 cannons,25,000 machine guns,3,000 minenwerfers,1,700 airplanes,5,000 locomotives engines,and 150,000 railcars.
I think the Senate should of adopted the treaty of Versailles because it might of helped avoiding war in the future.
The rejection of this makes the principle f separation of power show that all need to work together to come to a positive reselution or plan.

  2. The Treaty of Versailles had ended World War 1. Somethings the treaty did was the surrendering of all German colonies as the League of Nations mandates, the return of Alsace-Lorraine of France, Danzig to become a free city, a acceptance of German guilt in causing the war, and many other things.

The US Senate, in my opinion should have adopted the treaty. Woodrow Wilson had argued for awhile of trying to adopt the treaty but the Senate had rejected it. If the US Senate had maybe adopted it, it could have stopped the war or not have been that bad.

The rejection showed me that the Senate had rejected it and that the president wanted it, the two should have come together and talked it over as a one and made an agreement or the president should've override the rejection of it.

  3. The Treaty of Versailles ended World War One.
    The provisions included:
    · The creation of the League of Nations. This was a goal of President Wilson. It was to arbitrate conflicts between nations before war was declared.
    · Loss of German colonies- required Germany to return Alsace-Lorraine region to France.
    · Barred Germany from maintaining an army.
    · established a commission which was to determine the exact size of the reparations to be paid by Germany
    · The treaty established nine new nations. These were Poland, Finland, Austria, Hungary, Czechoslovakia, Yugoslavia, Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania.

The Us Senate refused to sign the treaty and refused to take part in the League of Nations. I agree with this. I think America was still growing and had enough problems on the home front to worry about other nations and their troubles. It would also add expenses to the US and the money should stay within the US to help its own people directly.
The Separation of powers is three braches of government that has a system of checks and balances framed in the U.S. Constitution to prevent usurpation, corruption, and other abuses of power in the government. This makes it difficult if not impossible for one branch to become to powerful. I think this rejection shows that not the president alone runs the country or the Treaty would have been signed by the US.

  4. The treaty that ended the war was, the Treaty of Versailles. It imposed very rigid restrictions against Germany. They could now only have 100,000 members in there army. President Wilson made his own reconciliation, "14 points"
I think the Senate should have went through with the treaty, because it might have helped to stop the war in the future.
They should have just made a meeting and talked about the whole thing, but no. The senate just made their mind up without even talking about the whole thing.

  6. the treated that ended WWI was the treaty of Versailles, in June 1919. They should've adopted the treaty because maybe if they didn't, we would still be fighting the same war from back then. The separation seems to be non-caring sometimes about what is best for the country. I think this because, wouldn't they have signed the treaty before the war got bad.?

  9. The Treaty of Versailles returned Alsace-Lorraine to France, turned Danzing into a free city, banned the joining of Austria and Germany. I think the senate shouldve adopted the treaty because it couldve helped stop us from entering future wars which in return, couldve help the states financially. The rejection show that because of the separation of powers, each branch isnt as close as they should be which in reality would be disastrous.

  10. The Treaty of Versailles ended World War One, it put all the blame on germany, i think the senate did the right thing by not adopting it, The u.s. should keep to itself, also this shows how powerful our system of checks and balances is
