  1. America's response to this action on 9/11 was nothing like anything else. Everyone had their eyes glued to the tv, standing on the streets watching it happen or calling loved ones that worked in the World Trade Centers. It was a sad moment for everyone even if they didn't have family working in the centers. I agree the way the people felt because we did no harm to Iraq or Iran to deserve the tragic lose we had. George Bush enacted many policies and programs during his presidency but one I found that was made an act because of 9/11. It's name is Authorization for Use of Military Force Against Terrorists or also known as AUMF. Its purpose of being enacted was to grant the President the authority to use all necessary and appropriate force against people who aided, planned, committed or authorized the September 11th attacks. 2. The terrorist attacks on NYC and the Pentagon on September 11th were suicide attacks by Al-Queda. Four passenger jets were highjacked and intentionally crashed into the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center, and in Shanksville, Pennsylvania in a field, when passengers and crew tried to regain control of the plane. America responded by launching a war on Terrorism invading Afganistan and inacted the USA Patriot Act which increased the ability of law enforcement agencies to search telephone, E-mail, medical, financial, and other records of private citizens.
I agree with America's response because I think as long as you have nothing to hide the government and law officials have every right to look into what you do and who you do it with to protect us in the end.
President Bush pushed through a 1.3 trillion tax cut program, which let to the rich having a higher income tax burden and less for the poor. To fight the global HIV/AIDS epidemic he started a program initially to provide treatment to two million HIV infected people in resource- limited settings, to prevent seven million new infections, and support care for ten million people by 2010 and is credited for saving millions of lives.
A federal program called Medicare Part D is to subsidize the cast of prescription drugs for people who receive medicare in the United States at the start it was expected that 11 million people would be covered by Medicare Part D. As of January 2007 nearly 24 million individuals were receiving prescription drug coverage through this program.

  3. the attacks on 9-11 were attack the iraqes stold are planes and crashed them in to our own buildings. and yes i think that the response was right because if it was me i would hace just droped a on them and been done with it but president bush tryed to help the iraqes and start to build a little army for them so that they could defend against the alquita but i think he either should have tryed to end the war sooner with a victory or at least if he wasnt going to do that pull out and let the troops come home

  4. Americas response to the terrorist attacks on 9/11 was one of anger, being scared, and wanting to make someone pay. I remember that day and was scared, I wasn’t sure I safe even in my home. I remember my mom telling me that she was told to keep all windows and doors shut in case of poison of some sort, even though it was very hot and humid that day.
President George W. Bush did a lot during his presidency. Some of the things he accomplished were:
    · Bush doctrine was born – saying we go on the offensive and stop enemies before they attacked us
    · Created National Counterterrorism Center – to track terrorists threats
    · Enacted the USA Patriot Act – enabled law enforcement and intelligence agencies to share info on terrorist threats.
    · Military Commissions Act –
    · Double border control
    · Created USA Freedom Corps to get Americans to volunteer to serve causes greater than themselves.
    · Created a new National Space Policy to ensure the continued free access and use of space for peaceful purposes and to help advance America's economic competitiveness.
    · Enacted the Do Not Call List, which 145 million Americans have utilized to reduce unwanted telemarketing calls.

Just to name a few of the things he did.

  5. The 9-11 attack was in 2001 when the terrorist stole airplanes and crashed them into the twin towers. And i think Americas response was the right thing to do because if we wouldn't have done anything it could have been alot worse. President Bush put our men and women into war in iraq. And helped them build a new economy and a government. But i think our troops should have came home a long time ago.

  6. The 9/11 attack happened in 2001. Terrorist highjacked airplanes and they had passengers on them. They went and crashed right into the Twin Towers. I think the response was right. I think it was right becase if we didnt do anything everything would be alot worse right now. Bush put our soliders into war. Then helped them build a new economy and gov. I think it was wrong tho, we should have had them home along time ago tho.

  7. I do not agree with how they handled the 9/11 disaster. I think they should have spoken with whoever attacted us, irag?, then for whatever reason they attacted us, forget it and bomb them. Going to war was the result of a skipped step. We should have bombed them, then went to war with them. George Bush has got to be one of the worst presidents we've ever had. Thank god for Obama. He is such a good, young talent. But Bush's programs wern't as bad as his terms. His programs were actually decent. I don't know why he was such a bad president. Before he went into office, gas was $1.20sih a gallon. Now its up into the 3 dollar range? that's rediculous. I guess over 8 years, things can kind of get out of hand though......

  8. The u.s. went to war looking for the person that did it, i think they should have gotten more evidence before they did something like that. I George was a terrible president, he had the IQ of a dog.
